Antwerp - children Mon, Fri & Sat at 1.15 pm. Extra on Wed in April, July & August. Antwerp, Belgium's 2nd largest city and Europe's 2nd largest harbour has kept many memories of its rich past. Above all, it is the city of P.P. Rubens, worldfamous master of the 17th century. We drive to the Market Square with its ancient houses and Our Lady Cathedral (entrance fee included). This cathedral contains, amongst other treasures, two of Rubens' masterworks: "The Erection and the Descent from the Cross". Antwerp is also the world's diamond centre. We will visit a Diamond Workshop. We will end the tour with a drive through the oldest part of the harbour.

Behind Antwerp, we cross the Dutch border and driving through the endless polders with typical windmills we reach the Amsterdam area. First we visit a traditional craft centre and get familiar with all that made the glory of Holland: tasty cheese, clogs and beautiful pottery. In the afternoon we visit Amsterdam. We offer you an opportunity to make a boat tour along the many picturesque canals (optional) and we have a break and enjoy some free time at the "Damsquare" which is famous for the royal palace.

Extra Towels We include a set of towels per person in your price. However we recommend for stays over 3 days you pre-order another set of towels per guest. Delivery will be more expensive if you order this after arrival as we would need to make a special delivery from the office. You can also collect towels from our office in exchange for the used ones for free but most people prefer to avoid the hustle.
