Split
Split is a resort, a seaport and the capital city of Dalmatia, Croatia. Located in the Adriatic Sea on a peninsula, it boasts a southern harbor which is quite deep and sheltered from storms. The city is a business and transportation center and its most famous site is that of the Palace of Diocletian, which was built around the turn of the 4th Century AD. The palace, together with its churches, fortifications and royal residences, has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Definitely the best location in Split as it overlooks the Old Town Square and the view is amazing as it is on the 4th floor. Although it is so central it is very quiet and private.The apartment is very clean, spacious and has all the facilities that one would need. The interior is paticularly impressive with stone walls and a loft area.The owner was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
