Campo dei Fiori is a square situated not far away from Piazza Navona, and the translation of its name into English comes out as "field of flowers." This name comes from the Middle Ages, when this whole area was actually a flowery meadow. Since 1869, a market with fresh vegetables and seafood has been held there each morning. Also, its old fountain, known as La Terrina, now bursts with flowers to create a gorgeous atmosphere in the square.
