Casa Batllo in Barcelona is a fabulous building, which was built in year 1877 and was later restored by the great architects Antoni Gaudi and Josep Maria Jujol. Casa Batllo is situated in the prosperous Eixample district of Barcelona, on the Passeig de Gracia street and was originally designed for a middle-class family. The house is constructed in Art Nouveau style and avoids straight lines, as it comes with irregular oval windows, tracery and flowing sculpted stone work. Most of the fasade is done with mosaic made of broken ceramic tiles, while the roof is arched and looks like a dragon's back.
