Plaza de Espana or the Spain Square is a spacious area in the heart of Madrid, at the western end of the Gran Via, which is a very tempting tourist destination. The famous square features the monument of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, which is overlooking the bronze sculptures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza; and is neighboring two of the most impressive skyscrapers of Madrid. At the same time the Palacio Real is located a short walk away from here.
