The West End has central location and is thus very close to many shops and stores, open-air cafes and lively pubs, and elegant restaurants. The West End is also close to the Victorian residential streets, the Edinburgh Filmhouse, the Usher Hall, the Traverse Theatre and the Royal Lyceum. The area is very pleasant for spending some quality free time and going shopping.
