- Kiev Transport
- Travelling to Kiev via Plane or train? Then let us arrange pick up service for your party. When making a reservation, simply ask for more details.
- Taxis
- You can order a taxi by dialing 0-58 on you telephone. Another common method to catching a ride within Kiev is to find one directly from the city streets. Many taxis and private drivers are available. To hail a ride, simply put out your hand and flag one down. Chances are that a car will stop. Locals will often pull over to offer you a ride for much less than a taxi. However, I suggest that you be careful and alert when entering a stranger's vehicle. Especially a vehicle containing more than one person. Believe it or not, this is the most popular form of transportation. Many of the private and taxi drivers disobey the rules of the road and may very well not speak English either. Please be sure to negotiate your price before entering the car.
- Metro
- Kiev has a great Metro system. IT is clean, safe and quite inexpensive. Travelers can purchase tokens at any Metro station for lees than a dime (50 kopecks). The Metro runs from 6 am till midnight

- Trams and Busses
- These forms of transportation are going to be typically packed with people. However, it is definitely a cheap and reliable way to travel around the city. The body odor can be overwhelming during the warm summer months...do beware. Tickets can be purchased at most bus stops, kiosks or directly from the driver. There are fines given out to those who are caught trying to ride for free.
