The apartment was located in a lovely residential area, away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the tourists. It made you feel like a local in your own apartment! The size of the apartment was very good for two people and was nicer than staying in a BB or hotel, as you could please yourself when to have breakfast and even eat in your pyjamas! The young man who greeted us at the apartment (Kassimou), was lovely and charming. He was extremely helpful and friendly and said we could call him anytime if we needed him. Be warned, the two flights of stairs are extremely steep, like climbing a step ladder! Although the apartment was lovely, it could do with some renovations, especially in the bathroom, which unfortunately for us, let it down.There was an awful smell all the time, which we couldn't get rid of, as there isn't a window. The towels were awful too, so take your own!

The location of the apartment was much appreciated. The street was quiet and everything you need nearby. We have made a lot of walking and found the sights easily accessible. The landlord was easy, the apartment is practical and friendly. We appreciated very much that all tea and coffee making facilities were available (up to a teapot). We felt very comfortable.

We had a terrific stay in Amsterdam at Nikos 2. Our hosts Niek and Jason were most helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. This B&B gets top marks for cleanliness,comfort,services,and terrific location. We had the use of a fully equipped kitchen,laundry facilities,a huge room with large comfortable bed,modern bathroom and a siting room area to watch tv or entertain friends. My wife and I have travelled in many parts of Europe staying primarily in B&B's and this one is right up there as the best we have ever experienced. Great coffee machine with free coffee!

The houseboat was in a great location, close enough to won but in a quiet area and we were warmly welcomed. There was plenty of room and the furniture and equiopment was great such as PC and a dishwasher.

owned by very nice and easy going couple who gave us a warm welcome. the small apartment is located in a up and coming part of town, off the usual tourist walks but still close to the medieval centre of amsterdam. the flat had everything we needed, even a small garden to relax. we will definitely consider it an option the next time.

The apartment was lovely and perfectly located in the Jordaan. The area is very pretty and far removed from the touristy areas in Amsterdam - you feel as thyou are 'living' in the city not just visiting. The welcome from the owner went very smoothly and he gave lots of additional information about the local area (super markets etc).

super nice, clean and well maintained apartment on the edge of the red light district. the apartment is located in the city's entertainment district, so one can not fail to hear people on the street at night. In the street where the apartment is located, there are no bars, but since it's oak side street to one of the major streets in the area, do not run many meters before there is entertainment. host Fritz myself live in the entryway, and is very nice, and gave us permission to check in ahead of time and stored our luggage a few hours after we had checked out. The only bad there is to say is that the bathroom is almost integrated with the kitchen, there is a sliding door between. We will try to rent the apartment again next time we go to Amsterdam.

The boat is ideally located, 10 min. By walk from the Central Station. Very clean and the owner is very friendly and nice, better than a hotel, is a real experience, we will be back!

The apartment was fantastic! Clean and in a great location! From some reviews I had read that the night could be noisy for those not accustomed to the night sounds, instead we were amazed by the silence that fell after midnight in the area. oviio, is not like an apartment in the countryside, but to be in the red light district was EXCELLENT!

The apartment was very good, better than we expected! Good location (seems too far from the center but the Amsterdam public transport is amazing!), 15 minutes and you are in the center! There aren't big supermarket close to the apartment so, probably, a map that show it could help future guests.
